Palouse River near Potlatch affecting Whitman and Latah Counties. .Heavy rain will fall on a deep primed snowpack leading to the melt increasing. Flows in rivers will increase quickly. For the Palouse River...including Potlatch...Minor flooding is forecast. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Flooding will begin at the Lions Club Community Park and Hayton Greene Park in Palouse. South River Road will likely be flooded where it crosses the Palouse River at Wellesley Rd.
