.SYNOPSIS...
A persistent ridging pattern will lead to a warming and drying
trend across the region through the forecast period. Winds
will briefly increase tonight into Wednesday with the passage
of a weak front.

.DISCUSSION...
Seasonable temperatures will continue into Wednesday. A rather
weak trough will pass through the region tonight into Wednesday
leading to some locally breezy westerly winds with gusts to
around 25 mph. Conditions will remain generally dry, though an
isolated light shower can`t be completely ruled out across the
central ID panhandle. By Wednesday night, the system pushes
eastward, then ridging is anticipated to build and strengthen
across the Inland Northwest for the remainder of the 7-day
forecast. Expect steadily rising daytime temperatures into
the weekend and early next week. Afternoon temps for Saturday
through next Tuesday look to run about 10-15 degrees above
normal. Dry conditions to persist. /KD

00Z TAFS: VFR conditions will prevail through the next 24 hours
under some occasional high clouds. Locally breezy south to
southwest winds anticipated through Wednesday.
