* At 704 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Norwich,
  moving southeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Norwich and Ledyard around 710 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION. This intense thunderstorm
line can produce brief tornadoes in addition to destructive wind
damage. Although a tornado is not immediately likely, SEEK SHELTER
NOW in an interior room on the lowest floor of a building, a closet
or basement, and stay away from windows!
