  West central Orange County in southeastern New York...

* Until 715 PM EDT.

* At 609 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Millrift, or
  near Matamoras, moving northeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  west central Orange County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
