The combination of the relative humidity dropping to 25-30 percent and a few wind gusts approaching 20 mph could contribute to an elevated risk of fire spread today, mainly in the afternoon. Exercise caution handling any potential ignition sources, including machinery, cigarettes, and matches. Any fires that ignite will have the potential to spread quickly.
