Patchy dense fog, with visibilities 1/4 mile or less, continues
across Suffolk County this evening. Visibilities are expected to
improve later this evening as rain moves into the area.

Until then, take it slow on the roadways, and be aware of changing
visibilities. Use low beam headlights, reduce speeds, and leave
extra distance between yourself and the vehicle in front of you.
