At 546 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Upper West Side, or over Ridgefield, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mott Haven, East Tremont, Ridgefield, RFK Bridge, Throgs Neck Bridge,
Midtown Manhattan, Laguardia Airport, Harlem, Jackson Heights,
Astoria, Union City, East Village, SoHo, Riverdale, and Co-op City.
