...ELEVATED RISK OF WILDFIRE SPREAD WEDNESDAY...

For tonight, north to northwest winds will diminish to under 10
mph, with gusts of 20 to 25 mph ending by late tonight. Relative
humidity will be increasing to 55 to 60 percent.

An increased risk of fire spread will develop on Wednesday.
North winds will be around 10 mph with gusts in the morning 15 to
20 mph, and diminishing and ending during the afternoon. Along
with dry fuels and low relative humidity values around 25 percent
will support the spread of any fires that ignite.

Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Be sure to properly
extinguish or dispose of any potential ignition sources, including
smoking materials such as cigarette butts. Refer to the New Jersey
Forest Fire Service website for information on burn restrictions.
