  New York Harbor...

* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 657 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Jamaica Bay to near Rockaway Inlet to near
  Sandy Hook to near Port Monmouth to near Raritan Bay, moving
  southeast at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Sandy Hook Bay, Raritan Bay, Barnum Island, and Island Park around
  705 PM EDT.
  Middle Bay around 710 PM EDT.
  Entrance to New York Harbor around 720 PM EDT.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, high waves, lightning, and heavy rain
are expected with these storms. If caught on the open water stay
