* Until 315 AM EDT.

* At 213 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Shinnecock Bay to 15 nm southwest of Buoy 44017 to
  40 nm southeast of Shinnecock Inlet, moving northeast at 40..
  knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Buoy 44017 around 230 AM EDT.
  Montauk Shoal around 250 AM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, small hail, high waves, lightning,
and heavy rain are expected with these storms. If caught on the open
water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal
objects.
