  The Open Waters 20 to 40 NM south of Fire Island Inlet to Moriches

  The Open Waters 20 to 40 NM south of Moriches Inlet to Montauk
Point NY...

At 1030 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a broken line of
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 27 nm east of
Buoy 44025 to 15 nm southeast of Shark River Reef, moving east at 60
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
