   Coastal Flood Watch.

The risk for life threatening surf and rip currents will increase
through Thursday Night, gradually decreasing heading into the
weekend.

Ocean beach flooding and erosion/escarpment will be expected during
times of high tide, particularly the evening high tide, today
through Friday. The threat for dune erosion will become more
widespread with each successive high tide Tuesday evening into
Friday. Widespread areas of dune erosion are likely with localized
overwashes during the Thu evening and Friday morning high tides from
high surf combined with an elevated stormtide.

Widespread moderate coastal flooding possible during Thursday
evening`s high tide. With one to two feet of inundation above ground
level possible in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and
shoreline.
