.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms possible today, with the best chances
being across northern portions of our area (Lower Hudson Valley and
interior CT). Mainly dry conditions on Sunday, with just a slight
chance of showers across the same northern locations. Winds pick up
a bit today out of the S/SW ahead of a cold front. Expect 10 kt
winds with gusts up to around 25 kts for northeast NJ and the Lower
Hudson Valley. Similar winds are forecast on Sunday, but out of the
W and a few kt higher. Min RH values both days will be around 50
percent.
