.DISCUSSION...
A cold front approaches today and eventually moves across
Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast, at times,
through the forecast period. They will provide rain amounts of
near a quarter to an inch with locally higher amounts possible.
So, at least some parts of the region could see a sufficient
wetting rain.
Winds will be generally out of the south today through tonight
near 5 to 15 mph. Some gusts up to near 20 mph are forecast,
especially along the coast, this afternoon into this evening.
Winds will be lighter, near 5 mph, on Thursday with an eventual
shift to more northerly flow.
Minimum relative humidity is forecast to range from around 50 to
75 percent for both today and Thursday.
