.DISCUSSION...
High pressure weakens and gives way to an approaching area of
low pressure today through tonight. The low hovers offshore
Thursday. Rain showers return to the forecast today and remain in
the forecast through Thursday. For eastern areas by tonight and
Thursday, there very well could be enough rain showers to
sufficiently wet the ground.
Winds will be trending higher along with rainfall chances as the
low gets closer to the region. Winds will be mainly NE and
increasing to near 10 to 15 mph through tonight and then more in
the 10 to 20 mph for Thursday. There will be gusts at times to
near 25 to 30 mph.
Minimum relative humidity will range mainly between 50 and 85
percent today and Thursday with higher values within the eastern
half of the region and along the coasts.
