.DISCUSSION...
After a dry start to today, showers and isolated thunderstorms are
expected to move through the area during the afternoon and evening
hours. Friday is then expected to be mostly dry, with lingering rain
chances mainly for Long Island and southern CT. Winds will generally
be light through the period, but could reach 10 to 15 mph out of the
E/NE Thursday night into Friday morning with a wave of low pressure
passing offshore. Min RH values each day will range from 60 to 70
percent.
