.DISCUSSION...
Low pressure approaches today and moves across tonight. High
pressure starts to build in from the north Monday.
A steady wetting rain is expected today into this evening across
the entire region. The rain could be briefly heavy at times for
some locations. Total rainfall amounts forecast range for most
locations between 0.5 to 1 inch. The rain tapers off late tonight
with mainly dry conditions for Monday.
Winds through the forecast period will be mainly near 10 to 15 mph
with wind speed with some wind gusts to near 20 to 25 mph. The
wind direction will be more southerly today, more northerly
tonight and more northeasterly on Monday.
Minimum relative humidity will be on the higher side today with
the rain, ranging between 75 and 95 percent. For Monday, the NE
flow will keep some extra moisture in the atmosphere, with minimum
relative humidity forecast to range between 65 and 80 percent.
