High pressure remains in control today then shifts offshore and weakens tonight into Wednesday. A weakening frontal system approaches Wednesday. Hurricane Erin will pass well to the southeast Thursday into Thursday night, bringing indirect impacts mainly along the shoreline. High pressure will return by late week, then a cold front will approach from the west late this weekend.
