...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SMITH AND WEST
CENTRAL PUTNAM COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM CDT...

At 733 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gordonsville, or 9 miles southeast of Carthage, moving northeast at
15 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Smith
and west central Putnam Counties.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 265 and 270.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
