At 1228 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Kennard, or 7 miles northwest of Bennington,
moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
* Locations impacted include...
Blair, Bennington, Missouri Valley, Valley, Arlington, Fort
Calhoun, Kennard, Modale, Leshara, Washington, Desoto Bend National
Wildlife Refuge, and Wilson Island State Park.
This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 66 and 74, and
between mile markers 77 and 82.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
