...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM
CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 25 below expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Iowa and east
  central, northeast, and southeast Nebraska.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
  Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
  exposed to these temperatures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Those traveling should take extra
  precautions, with the increased likelihood of getting stuck or
  stranded being higher with snowy conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
