There is a 5-15% chance of locally damaging wind gusts up to 65 mph. Stronger thunderstorms also are capable of producing heavy rainfall that may produce localized flash flooding. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Heat and humidity builds through the end of the week with peak afternoon heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees forecast Friday and Saturday, with values of 105-110 possible along the Nebraska-South Dakota border. Thunderstorm chances increase late Saturday night, along the Nebraska-South Dakota border.
