This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Sunday

A five percent chance of severe weather exists in far northeast
Nebraska overnight tonight. Damaging wind is the primary threat.
Most will remain dry.

The dangerous heat continues through Sunday afternoon, with heat
indices of 99 to 107. An Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect
until 7 pm Sunday. The strong winds will also persist with gusts
of 40 to 45 mph likely.

A front will move into northeast Nebraska Sunday night, with
increasing shower and thunderstorm chances, and a threat for a few
strong to severe storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday night through Saturday

The front will linger in the area for much of the upcoming
workweek, leading to repeated showers and storms. Flooding and
severe weather are possible.
