This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A thunderstorm complex pushing into the area this morning will be
capable or producing isolated pockets of damaging wind gusts
(60-70 mph) and hail up to 1 inch in diameter. Heavy rainfall and
frequent lightning will continue until the storms gradually
diminish in the late morning.

Hot conditions will continue this afternoon, particularly for
southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa where high temperatures may
reach the low 90s with heat indices peaking at 100 to 105 degrees.
A few strong to severe storms will be possible in southeast
Nebraska and southwest Iowa this afternoon before a better chance
pushes into the area overnight. Damaging wind gusts, small hail,
and heavy rainfall will be the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A decaying cluster of thunderstorms will continue Tuesday
morning, potentially bringing damaging wind gusts and locally
heavy rainfall.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report rainfall amounts over one inch,
wind gusts over 40 mph, and hail over half an inch in diameter to
the National Weather Service at Omaha.
