This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Saturday

Surface smoke from wildfires is reducing air quality with
conditions expected to continue through most of today and Saturday.
The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy has issued an
Air Quality Alert through 5 pm Saturday.

Scattered showers and storms may redevelop across northeast
Nebraska early Saturday morning. Severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday night through Friday

Showers and storms may develop again late Saturday night into
Sunday morning across much of eastern Nebraska. Redevelopment may
also occur late Sunday night into Monday. Severe weather is not
expected.

Nighttime chances for showers and storms continue from Tuesday
through Friday. The severe threat will be better determined in the
coming days.

Temperatures will warm throughout the week, reaching the low 90s
by Thursday. Some spots may see heat indices reach the low 100s.
