.DISCUSSION...
Fire danger remains low areawide for today. Highs warm to the 80s
for most locations with some spots in northeast Nebraska reaching
90F. Minimum RH ranges from 55 to 80% with the lowest values
expected in far northeast Nebraska. Rain showers and a few storms
overspread the area from west to east this morning, largely
tapering off after 5 pm. Winds remain from the south southeast
under 12 mph.
Tomorrow will see hot conditions with highs in the upper 90s to
low 100s in northeast Nebraska, and 90s for the remainder of the
area. Minimum RH will be slightly lower (around 30-35%) in far
northern portions of the area including Knox County where moderate
rangeland fire danger is forecast. Elsewhere, should see higher RH
in the 50 to 70% range with low fire danger. Winds remain from
the south and under 10 mph.
