.DISCUSSION...
Fire danger has crept up into the moderate category along the SD
state line while it remains low elsewhere. Mostly cloudy skies
early in the morning will become mostly clear by the afternoon.
Clouds build back in from the west in the evening when rain
chances push in from the northwest.
Winds will be quicker today, still out of the southeast, with
sustained speeds near 11 mph and gusts near 24 mph. A wide range
of min RH values are forecast with numbers ranging from mid-40s
near Fairbury to lower-70s forecast in western Iowa. Mixing
heights will peak between 3k and 5k feet.
