...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Much of eastern Nebraska and all of southwest Iowa.

* WHEN...From 6 PM CDT this evening through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Scattered slow moving thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are
    expected early Tuesday evening, with more widespread
    thunderstorms and heavy rainfall overnight. Rainfall rates of
    up to 2 inches per hour are likely in the heaviest storms.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
