Drought Information Statement
National Weather Service Omaha/Valley NE
115 PM CST Thu Jan 30 2025

...DROUGHT MONITOR IS MOSTLY UNCHANGED...

.SYNOPSIS:

As the mid-Missouri River Valley pushes through its dry period, it
is rare to see significant changes in drought categorization. So
despite historically dry and snowless seasons in parts of the
area, the drought designations have changed little to none since
late November.

The latest long-term forecasts suggest that drought will persist
in the area through at least April.
