.Synopsis...
Significant coastal flooding expected for the Coastal Mid-Atlantic and
Northeast region and along the Western Alaska Coast... Flash and urban
flooding possible across the Southwest into the Central Rockies and
Southern California...

.Coastal Mid-Atlantic and Northeast...
Significant coastal flooding is expected through late tonight. Periods of
locally heavy rainfall may also lead to isolated flash and urban flooding
further inland.

.Western Alaska Coast...
Significant coastal flooding is expected through late tonight.

.Southwest into the Central Rockies...
Flash and urban flooding is possible across the region through late
tonight, particularly across southern AZ and southwest CO. Isolated river
flooding may also be possible through day 2 (Tue).

.Southern California...
Isolated flash and urban flooding is possible through day 2 (Tue) as a
strong cold front brings periods of moderate to heavy rainfall to the
region. Rainfall totals of 1 - 3" are expected, with locally higher amounts
possible. Rapid runoff in steep terrain and urban areas may lead to
isolated instances of flooding, while mud and debris flows are also
possible near recently burned areas.
