.Synopsis...
Localized flash flooding possible in the Southern Rockies... Potential for
localized flash and urban flooding continues in South Florida... Possible
flash flooding and debris flows in the Intermountain West... Moderate river
flooding ongoing in Kansas... Minor to moderate coastal flooding across
most of the Eastern Seaboard...

.Southern Rockies...
Localized flash flooding is possible through day 2 (Fri), primarily across
the mountains of southwest CO and north-central NM where the heaviest
rainfall is expected (1 - 2", locally higher possible). Debris flows are
also possible near recently burned areas.

.South Florida...
Daily rounds of rainfall will continue the potential for localized flash
and urban flooding into this weekend. Recent rainfall totals of 2 - 5",
locally higher (RFC 7-day QPE) have moistened topsoils (55 - 80% RSM, 0 -
10 cm, NASA SPoRT), and with an additional 1 - 3" of QPF possible through
day 3 (Sat), nuisance flooding is possible in urban areas and areas of poor
drainage.

.Intermountain West...
Flash flooding and debris flows are possible in areas near burn scars for
parts of Idaho and eastern Oregon through today.

.Kansas...
Moderate river flooding continues in isolated areas along Salt and Cow
Creeks in central KS. Salt Creek is forecast to fall below the moderate
threshold by this evening while Cow Creek is expected to stay in moderate
flood status into Saturday.

.Eastern Seaboard...
Minor to moderate flooding is forecast at high tide across the east coast
from southern Florida all the way up into New England into this weekend.
Impacts should be relegated to low-lying roads and property.
