Flash flooding and mudslides possible this week for the Mariana
Islands...Isolated flooding impacts possible in Northern California into
the Pacific Northwest...

.Mariana Islands...
Flooding impacts across the Mariana Islands are expected through the end of
this week as locally heavy tropical rainfall spreads across the region.
Flash, urban, and small stream flooding impacts, along with mudslides, are
all possible.

.Northern California into the Pacific Northwest...
A Limited" flooding impact area was added during the morning FHO update.
This area will be kept the same to maintain consistency of flooding
messaging across northern CA northward into western WA due to pulses of
moisture from an ongoing atmospheric river event. The severity and areal
coverage of impacts should be largely mitigated since we are in the early
portion of the wet season when streamflows are generally low along with a
lack of snowmelt component to the event. Isolated river flooding (HEFS,
NWM, NWRFC) remains a possibility by late this week across western WA as
soil moisture content (NASA SPoRT) and streamflows (USGS) are elevated from
recent rainfall.
