.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure over the area
will gradually shift NE today through Sun as a coastal low moves
N just offshore of the SE U.S. The low will strengthen and
expand as it moves N, being centered offshore of the Virginia
Capes by Sun night. This broad, complex low will move very slowly
E from the Virginia Capes across the outer Mid- Atlantic Waters
Sun night through Tue night, then finally move E of the area Wed.
Mariners should monitor later forecasts on the coastal system.
This will be a long duration event for the east coast, impactful
to the mariner. A cold front will approach from the NW Wed, then
move offshore Wed night.
