.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure over the area
will gradually shift NE tonight into early Sun as a coastal low
moves N just offshore of the SE U.S. The low will strengthen and
expand with a secondary low forming as it moves N. The secondary
low will be centered offshore of the Virginia Capes by late Sun
into Sun night. This broad, complex low will move very slowly E
from the Virginia Capes across the outer Mid-Atlantic waters Sun
night through Tue night, then finally move E of the area Wed.
Mariners should monitor later forecasts on the coastal system as
this will be a long duration event for the east coast, and
impactful to the mariner. A cold front will approach from the NW
Tue night into early Wed, then move offshore late Wed into Wed
night. The front will move E of the area Thu with high pressure
building in across the waters through Thu night.
