New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure over the region
will continue Tue, then shift E of the area Tue night through Wed
night. The eye of Hurricane Erin is expected to pass NE through
the Outer Mid-Atlantic Waters Thu night into Fri, remaining S of
the waters, then move farther away from the area Fri night into
Sat. Tropical storm conditions are expected to remain near and S
of Georges Bank. Long period S swell from Hurricane Erin will
move into the region Tue, then continue through Thu night before
backing to the SE and E Fri night. A high pressure ridge will
build across the waters late Fri and Fri night and continue into
