New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure over the N
waters will gradually shift NE of the area later tonight. The
center of Hurricane Erin is expected to track NE through the
outer Mid-Atlantic Waters Thu into Fri, remaining S and then SE
of the waters. Erin will then move farther away from the area
over the N Atlantic Fri night into Sat. Long period S swell from
Hurricane Erin will continue through Thu night before backing to
the SE and E Fri night. A high pressure ridge will move E across
the waters Fri night and Sat, then shift E of the area Sat night
into Sun. A cold front will gradually approach the waters from
the W late Sun night, then move E across the area Mon and Mon
