...BLIZZARD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM AKDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Point Lay.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM AKDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. Areas of blowing snow could
  reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...No falling snow is expected. The blowing snow
  is low to the ground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle.
