.DISCUSSION...
A front is bringing showers, slight cooling, and gusty
southwesterly winds to the North Slope this afternoon. Isolated
thunderstorms expected amongst the showers this afternoon. The
showery conditions and southwesterly winds gradually diminish
through Wednesday morning. Wednesday will see a pressure begin to
build from the north as a high in the Arctic moves south. Winds
will shift northeast with low stratus and fog expected to return
to areas nearer the coast by the end of the week. Temperatures
will cool through the week with highs in the 50s and 60s expected.
Minimum RHs stay well above 40. Next week is expected to become
warmer and drier as high pressure continues to build.
