.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures continue to remain warm through the North Slope,
with mid 70s becoming low 80s by Friday. By and large expecting
minimum RH to drop below 40 percent, with local areas across the
Northern Foothills dropping into the upper 20s. Breezy northeast
winds across the area this afternoon continue into the evening,
weakening slightly overnight, before increasing Thursday
afternoon, although winds should be slightly less than what we see
across the area Wednesday afternoon. We are not expecting any
thunderstorms for Wednesday, but on Thursday isolated
thunderstorms are possible on the Western Brooks Range near Red
Dog Mine.
