Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. .SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure across the region will slowly weaken as an area of broad low pressure approaches the northern and central waters from the W tonight. As the low pressure weakens W of the waters Sat and Sat night, high pressure from the N will expand S across the waters. The high pressure ridge will then slowly strengthen across the area Sun through Mon night, then persist through Tue night. While high pressure remains across the northern areas, low pressure will develop across the inner central waters Wed, then slowly drift S and SW across the area through Wed night.
