California waters-
Inner waters from 60 nm to 150 nm offshore.
Outer waters from 150 nm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A stationary front draped
across the northern half of the waters will dissipate tonight
while low pressure strengthens just W of the northern waters. As
that low moves quickly NE and then N away from the area, a cold
front extending S from the low will move SE across the northern
and central waters tonight and Fri, reaching the southern waters
Fri night. On Sat, a new weaker area of low pressure will develop
W of the waters. It will move E into the northern waters Sat
night into Sun before weakening into a trough Sun night. The low
will drag a cold front across the central and southern waters Sun
night through Mon night. An additional weak and broad area of
troughing will extend S from broad low pressure N of the area and
will move E across the northern waters Mon into Tue. The low
should dissipate later Tue into Tue as weak ridging builds across
the area.
