.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...Strong high pressure centered
NW of the area will extend a ridge SE across the N and central
waters today through Mon, then gradually weaken through Wed
night. A coastal trough extending along the northern and central
California coast will strengthen today, persist through Wed, and
then weaken by Wed night. On Thu and Thu night, the coastal
trough will dissipate as a weakening cold front moves into the N
and central waters. By later Wed night into Thu night the area of
weakening high pressure will shift further S and pass to the W of
the central and S waters.
