height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A low pressure trough will
persist along the central and S California coast tonight through
Tue night, then redevelop along the N and central coast Wed
through Sat night. High pressure just to the W of the central
waters will persist tonight through Wed night, then drift N to
the W of the N and central waters later Wed night through Fri
night. The high will slowly weaken Sat and Sat night as a cold
front move into the N portions.
