Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A couple strong cold fronts
will affect the central and northern waters over the next week. A
trough of low pressure will persist along the California coast
through early Tue while high pressure remains over the central
and S California waters. Low pressure will move NE across the
northern waters this afternoon, then move inland along the Oregon
coast tonight. A significant cold front will approach the area
late tonight into Tue before stalling and dissipating over the
central waters Tue night. Another cold front will move E over the
N and central waters Wed into Wed night before dissipating over
the S waters Thu night as high pressure builds in behind it. The
area of high pressure will remain just W of the waters on Fri and
will start to dissipate on Fri night. A trough will develop along
the California coast Thu night into Fri, then weaken Fri night.
