height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A strong low pressure system
will drift SE over northern waters tonight with the strongest
winds over the westernmost northern waters. An associated cold
front will move over the central waters tonight before pushing
through the S waters Fri into Fri night. High pressure will build
in behind the front Fri into Sun ahead of the next cold front
approaching from the NW. The cold front will move over the N and
central waters Sun into Sun night before moving over the S water
Mon into Mon night. High pressure to the NW and SW of the waters
will build in behind the front Mon into Mon night. An inland
trough will begin to form Mon night and persist into Tue and Tue
night as high pressure remains SW of waters.
