Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. .SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...Low pressure centered W of the northern waters will move quickly NE and then N away from the area tonight. A cold front extending S from the low will move SE across the northern and central waters tonight and Fri, reaching the southern waters Fri night. On Sat, a new weaker area of low pressure will develop W of the waters. It will move E into the northern waters Sat night into Sun before weakening into a trough Sun night. The low will drag a weak cold front across the central and southern waters Sun night through Mon night. An additional weak surface trough will extend S from broad low pressure N of the area and will move E across the northern waters Mon through Tue.
