beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure will rapidly
intensify while lifting NE across Georges Bank tonight. A cold
front extending S from the low will move quickly E and SE across
the waters tonight. High pressure will build over the waters Wed,
persist Wed night, and then weaken early Thu. Yet another cold
front will move SE over the N and central portions late Thu
before stalling across the far S waters Thu night. High pressure
will build E over the N waters Fri into Fri night. The front and
developing low pressure will begin to move back to the N over the
S and central waters late Fri into Fri night, then continue
moving NE into the N waters Sat and then E of the area Sat night.
Another low will develop over the S waters Sun and Sun night.
Mariners should monitor the latest forecasts for the intensifying
low pressure system set to impact the region tonight into Wed,
and vessels planning to be in the area should execute avoidance
plans.
