beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A high pressure ridge will pass
quickly E across the area, then a strengthening cold front will
move across the N portions later today, clearing E of the waters
tonight. The cold front will be followed by a series of low
pressure troughs or weak cold fronts Thu and Thu night. Another
cold front will approach from the N Fri, move into the N portions
Fri night, then continue S across the remainder of the waters Sat
and Sat night. High pressure will build offshore across the S
waters following the cold front Sat night. The cold front will
stall across the southern waters Sat night then lift N as a warm
front Sun across the northern waters. A cold front will move
offshore into the northern waters Sun night.
