West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure will linger over
the S waters. Weak low pressure developing N of the area today,
will move E through tonight, with a weak cold front moving into
the N waters behind the low and becoming nearly stationary. The
front should diminish Mon as high pressure builds N over the
area. The high will move E of the N waters Mon night and Tue
ahead of a slow-moving cold front. The front will reach the coast
Tue night, weakening as it moves offshore over the N waters Tue
night and Wed. Another slow-moving cold front will approach the
coast Wed night into Thu, finally pushing offshore over the N
waters Thu night.
