from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Strengthening low pressure just E
and NE of Cape Hatteras this evening will move NE near the north
wall of the Gulf Stream tonight into Sat, and pull a trailing
cold front E and SE over the central and then NE portion of the
waters. The low will pass NE of the area later Sat with the
trailing cold front stalling over the central portions. A weak
low will move E along the stalled boundary over the central
waters Sat night into Sun. The front will drift N as a warm front
Sun night as yet another low develops near the Delmarva. Mariners
should use caution for locally gusty winds and rough seas in and
near scattered to numerous thunderstorms likely over parts of the
area into early next week. Otherwise, the Delmarva low will track
E and NE over the N portion Mon before weakening NE of the area
Mon night. Low pressure will approach the NW waters early Tue,
and pass N and then NE of the area late Tue into Tue night while
pulling a trailing cold front over the NW and N waters.
Chesapeake NAVTEX is out of service. Technicians are aware, and
are awaiting parts. We apologize for the inconvenience.
