West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure along the coast
will settle offshore tonight, and then will shift E of the area
Sun while maintaining a weak ridge across the central waters.
Meanwhile, a weak cold front will move slowly E across the waters
Sun and then will stall across the central and southern portions
Sun evening. Weak low pressure will develop along the front Sun
evening, then will track NE along the front later Sun night into
Mon. The low will move well E of the waters late Mon. The
associated stationary front will lift N across the waters as a
weakening warm front Mon night and Tue. Another cold front will
move E across the waters Tue night into Wed as strengthening low
pressure passes just E of the area. The front will stall and
dissipate Wed. High pressure will build E across the waters late
Wed into Thu as developing low pressure and a cold front approach
the coast. The low will track NE near the New England coast late
Thu and Thu night while pulling the cold front E across the
waters.
