.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Strong high pressure will remain
in place over the northern and central waters tonight through Mon
night. The high will slowly shift E of the waters Tue into Wed
while maintaining a weakening ridge axis W and SW into the area.
A low pressure trough along the SE coast will persist tonight
through Tue, then weaken Tue night into Wed. A strong cold front
will reach the northern waters late Wed, then move quickly S
across the northern and central waters Wed night. The front will
stall across the southern and outer central waters Thu and Thu
night, while high pressure builds to the N of the area. The USCG
communications facility Charleston, South Carolina is
experiencing technical difficulties. Technicians are aware of the
problem. We apologize for any inconvenience.
