beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Strong low pressure will clear
well NE of the area today. A series of low pressure troughs or
secondary cold fronts will move across the waters today and
tonight. High pressure will build to the coast Sat, settle
offshore Sat night, then shift E of the area Sun. A weak cold
front will move slowly across the area Sun into Mon. A weak area
of low pressure will develop along the front over the southern
waters late Sun, then lift NE along the front Sun night into Mon.
The low and associated front will move E of the waters Mon night.
High pressure will briefly build across the waters Tue before a
cold front approaches the coast and moves offshore Tue night.
